Question about Sony BRAVIA KDL-46W3000 Television
The hdmi shows the incoming dvi video for 3 seconds and goes black untill i turn off tv and turn back on. The same senareo turning cable box off on. Sometimes it runs for a couple of hours before vid dissapears.
What's going on. The cable box is a motorola.
With the tv on, walk up to the cable box and turn it off. using the cable box remote quickly press the red menu key. you should see a white screen with setup information on the screen. the first setting is tv size, that should be 16 x 9. the second should be set to 1080i. and the 4:3 override to 480p. you can change these setting using the up and down arrow keys to select and the left and right to adjust the settings. don't panic if you loose the picture for a moment, it will come back. when you are done, press the menu key again quickly. then turn the cable box on using the power button at the front of the cable box.
