Question about Televison & Video
Samsung LCD LN T 4071F has horizntal lines rolling on the screen.
There are tow possibilities for this fault. The first one is signal interference. The second is with its digital main board. Check this site for more details. It has more than 1400 posts to different
brands of electronic entertainment and other equipments. All posts referrers with the repair and
fault finding to electronic entertainment equipments. It will be best to view it either in Flipcard or Timeslide
option, can be selected by the sidebar tag at the top left of the display
screen. Timeslide view will be the best to select. If you are using Google Chrome as browser, Flipcard

causing of horizontal lines is leaky or defective capacitors. check big value capacitors around the board at Horizontal area. check the filter capacitor as well. good luck

I unplugged the TV and now the picture is back.I read that the LCD's are vunerable to static build up so unless my daughter is using her TV I unplug it.
I was thinking about getting a large LCD for the family room but I'm not going to until they improve on this technology.

Find someone in an area that the Company will ship to and send them the money to get the replacement board. then give them the shipping address and have them send it to you . I would be willing to help if all it will cost me is the time. You would have to take care of the E-Bay Bill and The shipping costs from my location to yours.

This should be repairable. It may be the LVDS Cable or the Main board problem. The only other problem is the T-Con Board.
