Then uninstall it!
usually PDVD does not cause such problems. it is a different thing.

good luck- nobody gives away a dvd player software for free these days. Usually they come bundled with Nero- or other burning software. You can try bittorrent- but look at the comments- usually you are downloading a virus too. Try a local computer repair shop- they will probably have one they can sell you cheap.
