Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Copies shows: Call Maintenance M2

Hello, the error code M2 means that the machine needs to have maintenance done ( like tune up to a car).. The only way to clear it would be to reset the counters and the service tech mode.

CAUTION MAINTENANCE CALL (M2) CALL SERVICE

Replace the developer and drum/cleaning blade. Also reset the counters after replacing parts then run F8. resetting the counter with out replacing the above items cause image problems. Enter the tech rep mode by pushing the utility button, pulling up the counter screen, and pushing Stop-0-0-Stop-0-1.

This will pull up the tech rep mode menu. Select "Counter" and then "Consumables."

Select the toner collection count and hit "Clear." Exit the mode and you should be good to go.
