a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

THE ONLY OPTION FOR THIS IS A HARD RESET WHICH WILL DELETE ALL DATA. Hard Reset 1. Press the Menu button. 2. Scroll to and select Settings 3. Scroll to and select System Info 4. Press the Menu, Shift and X keys simultaneiously. 5. Select Erase to erase the flash settings. 6. At the System Info screen, press the Menu, Shift and R keys simultaneously. 7. Select Erase to erase the Sign-In information. 8. Insert a paper clip in the reset hole while holding down the Power button.
Note: The device vibrates if all steps are performed correctl
T-mobile did have a global network outage the other day. The data plan was pretty worthless to eveyone off and on all day. Nothing much you can to do solve the issue except resetart your device and see if it reconnects.
When the sidekick does a hard reset, it drops all the data until it resyncs with the data servers. When the battery is loose, this is what happens
It sounds like the battery is loose. What you need to do is power the sidekick off. Then firmly reset the battery and place a folded up piece of paper between the battery and the battery cover. This will keep it firmly in place.
my service provider said that is because it is waiting to be linked to the internet... in order to use it as a phone until then.... press and hold down L and the menu button for three seconds...and it will unlock the phone aspect but you still have to wait the time period for internet use...
ok...do u have T-Mobile???if so if you ahve had the account for 3
MONTHS you tell them that you are going to Europe for 2 weeks and you
need the unlock code so u can use it over there..they will give it to
you for FREE so u dont have to pay for it...btw the Sidekick 3 is for
T-Mobile and they lock their data side...so you might not beable to use
the internet on it if u put it on cingular
