1st - Place the SD card in the phone. Make sure card is not larger than 8gb. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Music will not play

You need to reformat your music files to the Motorola format - Your phone has specific requirements for file size and format that currently the music on your SD card doesn't match.

Your phone should have come with the software allowing you to convert your music into the required format.

Samsung instinct, Micro SD card can't remove music. write-protected?!?

Usually you should be able to take the SD card out of your phone and put it in a universal card reader (around $30.00 cost) connected to you computers USB port. The SD card will come up as an external drive icon on your desktop. When you open the SD card icon on your desktop by clicking on it the contents of the card should be right there visable. Just drag whatever you don't want on the card off the card and into the trash. It should no longer be on the SD card when you reinsert it in your phone.

Micro SD card

sharp, you have to format the SD through your phone and then copy the music to the folder provided by the phone for the music. make sure you check the playing / bitrate / file type of audio file that the phone is limited to play.

Downloading music

To download music to the sync is not as difficult as it may seem. You have a multitude of options but i'll just cover 2..... 1- there are website's through your phone that able you to download full songs.... 2- any song that is mp3 will play on the syc. there are also programs that will convert any music file to mp3... google- convert wma to mp3.... exct.....
anyways after you have your your music set up as mp3... you can us your micro SD card that's in your phone (if you don't have one...radioshack usally has them on sale) make sure u have an thumb drive reader for the micro SD...... then drag/ drop your music..... insert micro SD back into phone and aslong as everything was done correctly..... BAM! and enjoy >; )

Music player and micro sd card

I have found that mine didn't recognize songs if the name of the song was too long. Try going into Windows explorer (with the micro sd card in the computer) and rename at least one of the songs as a test. If that song is recognized by the phone, go back and shorten the names on the rest of the card. Good luck!
