SOURCE: Air compressor head gasket diagram

Campbell hausfeld has all their manuals on line at www.chpower.com / you can enter the model # of the whole unit or just the # of the pump. Also you can enter just a partial number example wl650 for a list of models is that range. Use caution when installing gaskets for chpower oiless pumps. Some of their gaskets are very brittle. After installing parts, turn pump by hand to make sure all parts are in their proper place and that there is suction. Enjoy

SOURCE: i have a electric air compressor craftsman 3.5hp

The pressure switch controls the cut-in and cut-out points for the motor. Some switches have a differential adjustment besides the pressure adjustment. The differential controls the spread between cut-in & cut-out, (say in at 80 PSI, out at100 PSI)

Try looking for these if you didn't get a manual.

Good luck

SOURCE: Campbell Hausfeld Air Compressor won't start

The compressor starting problem is common to most of the small portable compressors. Poor design and undersized components are to blame. If you have one of these units i suggest looking into a product called the Smart Start by Conrader Valves. It is interchangeable with the standard air filters and allows the compressor to start without fail. check it out- www.conrader.com.

5 gallon compressor tries to start then stops

it sounds like the unloader is not working so it's trying to start with to much head pressure. One cause is a bad check valve another is a bad pressure switch. Those are the more common problems.

Eagle iron horse 80 gallon tank 6.5 hp motor takes long time to pump up air seems like compressor is working overtime

long overdue for an answer. likely a split valve plate gasket or split interstage tube. cover the inlet filter on each cylinder with your hand. If good suction, it is ok. If it has low suction or is blowing hot air out, you have a valve or gasket problem.

I have an Eagle River compresoor it is 5 or six gal but put oil in it and ran for fifteen minutes like says turned it back on but blows air out bottom of tank out hole that has threads but has no valve or...

You are missing your discharge tap, or drain valve(there are several names for it. It is usually 1/4 or 1/8th national pipe thread. I would be shocked if you found a supplier for the exact Eagle River part because I just looked for 15 min and found nothing by way of a breakdown or parts list for any model. The good news is, once you determine the thread size, you can generally install any drain valve assuming there is clearance between the compressor in its resting position, and the floor.

In my shop I use RolAir because they are fairly cheap but work well. This is actually a Emglo part.

EMGDC18 DRAIN ****, BRASS, 1/8" 2.35 LIST COST
EMGDC14 DRAIN ****, BRASS, 1/4" 2.10 LIST COST

Follow this link for a Rol-Air dealer near you(type in your zip code) and they should be able to UPS out the one you need. I hope this helps.
