No I can not turn on load via off/on switch.

In fact with timer detached from power, when I put ohm meter between one leg of ac power (male plug) on timer and one side of female plug I get contact, But when I try this with other side of these plugs I don't make contact no matter what position I put off/on switch in

If you are only controlling 120Volt then wire nut together the neutrals and try again. This way you would only be controlling the "hot". The contact points on the neutral points may be bad...

can you manually turn on the load via the off/on switch in the timer?

The way the message reads the timer was working and then quit. most likely the contacts or clock motor has wore out. but by u sayiing u can't get power manually i would say the contacts or relay that switches the load is bad.

i would try to buy a timer that was the same and put the guts in the old box if its alot of trouble to change out.

one other thing u can check, is the timer getting its operating power from the circuit or is the something else controlling the timer. if there is something else controlling the timer, i would check that to see if i had power there.

How do you wire a Toro Rain Sensor 53769 to Intermatic Timer T8845PV

The rain sensor only connects to Intermatic sprinkler timer IF the timer has the rain sensor terminals.
Not all Intermatic sprinkler timers have that connection.
For example R8815P101C and R8816P101C have rain sensor terminals

I think the rain sensor terminals are located to the right of main wiring terminal block.
There are two screw terminals.

The rain sensor plugs into a power source, and then sensor wires connect to the timer.
Apply no voltage to the sprinkler timer terminals.

We replaced the battery for our Intermatic Rain Tight Outdoor 7 day digital timer MODEL HB71R70 but the instructions to reset the timer have been misplaced. Could you please supply us with step by step...

Hi Maggie.
Intermatic no longer makes HB71 timer, and I cannot find instructions for the timer.
Intermatic website is offline on weekends starting March 2011, but I have searched the site numerous times over past year and they do not post that manual.
However I might be able to piece together steps if you add a comment and include in-focus photo of timer and buttons. Also include anything you can remember about setting the timer.
http://www.fixya.com/support/r6568559-post_photograph_fixya_questions_answers

My understanding so far is that this timer has 2 slide buttons, and several push buttons.
Typically slide button timers require both slide buttons to be in one position for setting timer, and another position for programming timer, and another position for operating timer. The complicated steps are why timer has been replaced with newer models with sleeker programming.

If you do not want to bother sending photograph, or working on the problem, then buy another outdoor timer for 20$

I need contact points for Intermatic #ML300RTW or more specific contacts for, #PB912M10 clock

ML300 is a Power Pack for outdoor lighting

A search of Intermatic site shows they no longer sell the product
Malibulights.com does not have any parts either
I have searched the web for parts in order to help fixya visitors, and I can't find any trippers or clock repair parts at all.
I bought a new Malibu 330Watt at Home Depot thinking the manual or box would show information>> but the new Power Packs have a digital clock, not the old dial clock with trippers.

Look like you have to buy a new Power Pack to fix the old one.

Describe your Intermatic &

Is the time clock rotating through the off tripper? If so, and the pump stays on, it's not wired right. Check the wiring at the clock for the pump.

Outdoor lights flicker

flickering indicates a loose connection....try tightening the screws on the timer and check any splices you made.

Otherwise, check the bulb, make sure it is screwed in tightly, and check the splices in the light
