The handle on our Kohler Vinnata K-691 came off loose. Is there a way to screw it back on and do we need a part for it?

SOURCE: I have Kohler single handle

Ok I am take a stab at this. If it is a L shaped handle it is not steel but an aloy and at the end of the long part of the handle is a end cap that either screws off or pops out when pry on. The set screw should be in the handle under that.
If that is not true then the set screw has to be somewhere around the base of the handle near the shower cover plate maybe headen under a little cover that would look like a small push-in cap.

SOURCE: I have a single handed Kohler Vinnata kitchen

I'm running into the same problem. I have the Kohler Vinnata 691 kitchen faucet. I have replaced the cartridge in the handle at the base of the faucet and am still finding water leakage as before. Are there other parts I need to check?

SOURCE: Leaking Kohler Vinnata kitchen faucet.

you must use genuine kohler parts,if you got something from lowes or home depot that was some other brand they usually leak. also look for calcium build up inside the valve body, you can use 1500 grit wet sand paper to remove it just be carefull and dont sand too much, then apply water proof plumbers grease inside the valve body befor you install the new cartridge.

On the front of the faucet handle, there is a small plastic cover with an emblem on it. Gently pry it off with a sharp knife blade. Next you will notice a small "allen" screw head. Remove it by turning it counter clockwise until it's loose. (lefty loosie - righty tighty) Lift the handle straight up to remove.

He needs a handle puller. Once the screw is removed the handle puller has a long point on it that goes into where the screw was and then the outside of the handel puller clamps around the handle. You then turn the T part of the puller and up come the handle with no damage

Best of luck Rich

Handle is loose enough that it doesn't catch to turn the valve. Not really sure how to tighten this

There is normally a cap on top that needs to be popped of to gain access to the screw. Look closely to be sure before prying it off, it could have threads.

My lever on my single handle kohler shower faucet is very, very loose. How do I tighten the lever. I don't see any screws or place for an allen wrench

There should be a screw hidden under a cap. depending on the model/style it may be as small around as a pencil diameter or as large as a half dollar (the larger is most common on acrylic handles) Just gently pry this off and you should find a phillips screw underneath.

Kohler fairfax k12175 cp took out button plug and screw - lever handle and bonnet won't come out - how do I get them out

Place a few drops of vinegar into the screw hole and wait a little bit. Try removing the handle again, sounds like it is just stuck on the cartridge stem. The handle should come off first, and then the bonnet. Here's the parts breakdown for your faucet from Kohler.
