i had similar problem . there is a blockage in the fllter , probably a small sock. the filter is at bottom right hand at front of machine .
turn anticlockwise to open.

Yes, if there is a loud annoying sound when spinning it is the bearings. Basically the bearings and seal need repacement. You wont want to hear this but doing that repair does require expertise and certain spanners.(includes a pulley)

bunged up theres a new word does that mean that you took off the pump and cleaned out the hoses as well as the pump yet the lights are still flashing on your unit please message me back with your answer and any further questions you may have thanks again Rick
p.s this also would mean you have cleaned the drain hose line that goes from the pump to the outside of the machine and tested the line to assure that water is flowing out of the drain line in a steady stream of water I await your reply Rick
