SOURCE: Logitech mouse blinks red after hanging battries

If this is a cordless Optical mouse it uses a red optical beam to sense the surface below it. This is how it moves the pointer. If this is the same mouse/keyboard combo I have it does not have any other lights on the mouse itself.

It is quite annoying when its dark in the room since the bottom is somewhat transparent.

SOURCE: logitech wireless mouse not working, mouse is

make sure the reciever is connected properly, there should be a button on the reciever to connect the mouse and keyboard, press this. make sure the batteries in the mouse are new, and that the mouse is not out of range. Also make sure the reciever and the mouse are free from dust, dirt and grease from your hands. if these steps dont cure the problem, then return the items to your retailer. the problem is with the pcb.

SOURCE: My Logitech mouse is wireless # CE0682 and the red

Gina, I've had my Logitech ce 0682 for years and have had some similar problems. The mouse is supposed to rest in the cradle and recharge the batteries, but I've noticed that it rarely works for me. The connectors on the mouse seem to scuff and corrode easily and I'm sure that degrades its ability to charge batteries. So my solution was to buy a 4 pack of rayovac rechargable batteries(AA) and a usb battery charger. I never put my mouse in the cradle now and keep 2 batteries recharging at all times so I always have fresh batteries when that pesky red light comes up telling me the batteries are dying. As far as your highlighting text problem. Sorry don't have a solution on that one.

We have hcanged the batteries in the logitech cordless mouse but cannot get it to work. Should the light on the underside of the mouse be green or red?

I have the same problem from time to time.

You will need to make sure that the batteries are in right (no offense). You have to start at the beginning of the line.

After checking that the batteries are in the correct way (be sure to change them around for testing purposes as the label themselves may be incorrect) the light should be RED.

If a series of batteries fail, be sure to check the receiver that is attached with the USB port. This light may be GREEN.

Always, when having computer problems, try to restart your computer.

If none of this is a solution to your problem, you will need a new mouse. After all, it is still a device that is subject to fail.

I have problem with my logitech wireless mouse it wont work i have an acer laptop

Hello, have you tried new batteries? Mine stops working even though the red light is still on, so you'd think the batteries are ok....and it's always new batteries that fixes it.
