That's a short in the power input section of the motherboard- I've found, much to my dismay, that the power input/charging circuit on these laptops is not a separate circuit board as it is on some other models, but is a small area of the motherboard itself. You'll either need to have someone repair the motherboard or replace it entirely. www.dfwsupergeek.com
the only thing that you can do is to open the transformer box and change the cord witch connects with the socket.Maybe there is a safety that you can change. If the problem is elsewere you should have knowledge of electronics.
IS THIS WITH BOTH AC CORD AND BATTERY
you probably need a power supply
before you run out and buy one start and press f8 then start in safemode see if the same thing happens
also make sure your AC adapter is connecting with internal connection the internal connection can become loose or bent from constant plugging and unplugging
ok well there is somwhere to start i would see if you can get it to take a charge ok and if it does than try to start it without the ac power on and see what it does if it wont take a charge your battery may be bad or your charging circuit may not be connected correctly ok lrt me know best regards mike

Its not for your model but should be close enough.
I am presuming that your laptop is OUT of warranty and you have a good idea of what you are doing?
Ensure you have an ESD strap on when touching components.
