get a new one they're not that expensive, you should be able to pick up a universal term block at an electrical supply warehouse or distributor or a hardware store dont keep a fire hazard around for that small amt of money

Looking at your dryer's wiring terminal block, you'll see three separated terminals. The red and black cord wires attach to the two outer terminals (it doesn't really matter which goes where), and the white one gets attached to the center one. You may even see smaller white wires coming from the back of the terminal and disappearing into the dryer. Make sure the terminals are securely tightened before you plug it in.

If you can't get the schematic on Google, test between the black wire and the connectors available. One that has continuity with some resistance is a good candidate. One that has no resistance probably is another connector for black....

Installed timer and I'm getting breaker pop. I've tried several different ways to wire and it keeps poping the breaker. GE Replacement Timer 15600


1) If you are replacing T103, the T103 can be wired many different ways. Not all wiring diagrams are supported by GE 15600 replacement timer that fits into Intermatic box.

2) Double check your T103 terminals
T103 terminals should be A 1 2 3 4
If terminals 3 and 4 have wires, then GE is not correct replacement.

3) GE has terminals 1 and L which are connected by brass bridge. If brass bridge is removed, add a jumper wire and connect terminals 1 and L

DTC P1705 - NC2 (Direct Clutch Speed Sensor) Revolution Sensor Circuit malfunction or Direct Clutch Speed Sensor Output is 300 RPM or less with Vehicle at 20 MPH or more & with Park/Neutral Position Switch Off

Most probably you have an electrical fault causing the problem and attached is a diagnostic procedure. It could be 2 separate problems and after rectifying the P1705 only would you know it is single or 2. Repair manual shows right on top of transmission, black sensor with single bolt, 2 wire plug. P/N 89413-08020 list price $113.80

NOTE: DTC P1705 is set when PCM receives 2 gear position signals at the same time.

1. Turn ignition on. If any A/T gear position indicator lights remain illuminated when gear selector is moved from that gear, go to next step. If all A/T gear position indicator lights turn off when gear selector is moved from that gear, system is okay at this time.

2. Disconnect A/T gear position switch connector. If all A/T gear position switch indicators go out, replace A/T gear position switch. If all A/T gear position switch indicators do not go out, go to next step.

3. Reconnect A/T gear position switch connector. Shift through all gear positions except Reverse. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between 16-pin PCM harness connector "D", terminal No. 6 (Green/Red wire on 2.3CL or White wire on Accord and Odyssey) and 25-pin PCM harness connector "B" terminals No. 20 or 22 (Brown/Black wires).

If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check for a short in Green/Red or White wire between 16-pin PCM harness connector "D" and A/T gear position indicator, or A/T gear position switch. Repair as necessary. If Green/Red or White wire is okay, check for loose PCM harness connectors. Replace PCM with a known-good unit if necessary.

4. Shift through all gear positions except Neutral and Park. Measure voltage between 16-pin PCM harness connector "D", terminal No. 13 (Blue/White wire on Accord or Light Green wire on 2.3CL and Odyssey) and 25-pin PCM harness connector "B" terminals No. 20 or 22 (Brown/Black wires). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, check for a short in Blue/White or Light Green wire between 16-pin PCM harness connector "D" and A/T gear position indicator, or A/T gear position switch. Repair as necessary. If Blue/White or Light Green wire is okay, check for loose PCM harness connectors. Replace PCM with a known-good unit if necessary.

5. Shift through all gear positions except "D4". Measure voltage between 16-pin PCM harness connector "D", terminal No. 9 (Light Green/Black wire on 2.3CL or Yellow wire on Accord and Odyssey) and 25-pin PCM harness connector "B" terminals No. 20 or 22 (Brown/Black wires). I have an Intermatic T103 DPST timer installed now (120v). The clock mechanism has failed. I bought Tork 1103 guts to replace it. The wiring is a bit different. Can u map for me which wires go to which...


T-103 has 120V clock motor with 5 terminals A 1 2 3 4
Tork 1101 has 120V clock motor with 4 terminals L 1 X 2

T103 is DPST and can control one-or-two 120Volt loads, or one-or-two 240Volt loads.
Tork 1101 is SPST can control one 120Volt load

Common ground between these timers one 120 Volt load
Changeover for one 120 Volt load:
White wires T103 terminal A go to Tork terminal X
Black wire T103 terminal 1 goes Tork terminals L and 1 (there is brass connector plate that connects L and 1 - if connector is missing, jumper between L and 1)
Black wire on T103 terminal 2 goes Tork terminal 2

If Load requirement is greater than T1101, Grainger sells T103 clock motor for $16

Triing to install intermatic t103 please help. Source is 3 wire 110v want to run 3 blower 110v 9.5 amps each off the t103 timer. Don't have 220v in house just 110v. I need a very simple wiring diagram I...


T103 has 120Volt clock motor, so we can wire this timer.

T103 timer is rated for 30 amps and 2horsepower and your blowers use 28 amps.
So we're getting close to max on the timer. Hopefully blowers won't all be started at one time since motors draw maximum amperage when they start.
However, you need 30 amp breaker and orange 10 gauge wire for that much amperage >> unless only one blower is turned ON at any given time.
Always match wire size, amperage of breaker and amperage of Load or it will trip the breaker.
If you put 30 amp breaker on size 10 wire it is good. But 30 amp breaker on smaller size 14 or 12 gauge wire is fire hazard.

Look at the basics:
You have 2 cables.
One cable comes from breaker box.
Other cable goes to three 120V plugs (120V is same as 110V).

Each cable has black-wire, white-wire and bare-copper-ground-wire.

How to wire the timer.
Timer has 5 terminals: A 1 2 3 4

A) Cable from breaker box:
White wire from breaker connects to terminal A
Black-wire from breaker connects to terminal 1

B) Cable going to 3 plugs
Black wire to plugs connects to terminal 2
White wire to plugs connects to terminal A
Ground wires connect to green ground screw.

Terminals 3 and 4 are not used in this case.

I have a Tork 1101. I am confused by wiring diagram. Please help.

1) Tork 1101 has 120Volt clock motor, making this 120Volt timer.

2) 120Volt circuit has 1 black hot wire and 1 white neutral wire and 1 bare ground wire. Ground wires connect to green screw and to each other.

3) You have two cables, each cable has black, white and ground.
One cable arrives from breaker box.
One cable goes to Load (light, fan, motor, pump etc)

4) Cable arriving from breaker box:
a) Hot black connects to terminal L.
There should be a brass connector plate that connects terminals L and 1. If this plate is removed, then add a jumper wire from terminal L to terminal 1.
b) white connects to terminal X

5) Cable going to Load
a) Load black connects to terminal 2
b) Load white connects to terminal X along with other white wire.

There have been problems with the motor wire harness connector on these washers. The problems are either a loose or bent terminal in the molex connector.
Unplug the connector and tug on each wire. If a wire comes loose from the plug, bend the locking tab up. If a locking tab is not properly seated in the plug connector, the terminals will not fully engage as the connector is plugged into the motor.
Another manifestation of this problem is that one of the terminals may be bent. Inspect the terminals on the motor side of the connector. Straighten any bent terminals if they exist. Recheck the harness side of the terminal block if any bent terminals are found. Bent terminals can indicate a problem with the locking tab inside the plug.

I have a Kenmore refri/freezer model 106.7687460. with the icemaker removed the unit will not operate. I need a wiring diagram or which wires needs to be connected at icemaker connection.


Good day,
the defrosting control is a part of the ice maker. If you don't care about appearances, you can wire around it.
First, you have to buy a 8 hour 20 minute Whirlpool defrost timer.
Any sharp appliance parts house counter guy will know what you need. It comes with one of the clock wires un-attached.
As well, you will need 4 insulated 1/4" female spade connectors.
Buy spares to be safe.

Cut the cord from the old ice maker at the ice maker.
There will be 5 main wires and a green ground wire.
Strip about 1" of the green wire's insulation.
There will be 5 wires left. red-orange-black-pink-brown.
Tape the brown wire back it will not be used.

strip back approx. 1/4" of the remaining wires. crimp a spade connector to each of the 4 remaining wires.

The terminals will look like this.... | | | | on the timer.
Notice the space between the first terminal and the second, compared to the rest.
We will call the terminals on the timer from left to right, 1,2,3,and 4 even though the timer will say differently.
Connect the loose wire on the timer to terminal 4.
Plug the red to #1, Orange to #2, black to #3, and pink to #4.
Plug into machine, and run to test. If O.K. then........
Using high quality electrical tape, tape everything exposed well.

Mount the timer to the wall using one of the left over holes from removing ice maker.

Drill a tiny hole, close to that area, and using a good self tapping screw, attach the green grounding wire. Detail your work as necessary.

It's ugly, but it works. Actually, I install the timer inside the case after gutting the works. If you want to try that, DO NOT cut the cord, as explained at the beginning.

Note: Some supply houses may still sell the adapter, already made up. You can check. In either case, you must have a timer in the circuit for defrosting.

Clock doesn't work


The wiring diagram for that timer is somewhat misleading. The 120 volt clock timer motor is connected internally to the "A" (neutral) terminal and the #3 terminal. The "A" (neutral) terminal is to the immediate left of the #1 terminal.
Here's how to do the wiring for your use, (assuming a 120 volt supply circuit and a 120 volt lighting or other load):
Connect the incoming power (line) black wire to terminal # 3. Connect the incoming (neutral) white wire to terminal "A".
Connect the outgoing (load) black wire to terminal # 4.
Connect the outgoing (neutral) white wire to terminal "A".

Clock want work


The wiring is incorrect. The wiring diagram for that timer is misleading. The 120 volt clock timer motor is connected internally to the "A" (neutral) terminal and the #3 terminal. The "A" (neutral) terminal is to the immediate left of the #1 terminal.
Here's how to do the wiring for your use, (assuming a 120 volt supply circuit and a 120 volt light circuit):
Connect the incoming power (line) black wire to terminal # 3. Connect the incoming (neutral) white wire to terminal "A".
Connect the outgoing (load) black wire to terminal # 4.
Connect the outgoing (neutral) white wire to terminal "A".
