Here's the Lexmark X4270 Windows XP driver you can download from the Lexmark website. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/9PBLAm. Download and install the software. Hope this helps. If you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.
You may have done this already but go to www.lexmark.com and go to the support/downloads tab and search for your printer. Download and install the printer driver for your printer which is for Windows 7. let me know if this works.
If you don't have the driver follow this link and select your operator system(OS) and download it.....if you do have the disc install the disc in your PC and install the driver (important : do not connect your USB cable to your PC until it prompt you to do so) When you'll connect the cable to the PC windows will detect a new hardware and will procede to the installation.....
Hi, this one should be easy, your installation disc is corrupt, or rather the driver, try copying the driver disc to a new blank one to override errors, this sometimes works. Do this after you have completely uninstalled any old partially installed printer files. (go to device manager and select unistall driver) Make sure you have original disc to do all this. If you have no luck with the copy, try downloading a new copy from the printers website. cheers lilacgerry
