I think you have problems with the digital main PWB.

If the power PWB failed, turn off and change the pilot ligth to red.

SOURCE: My Philips 19pfl3403d/f7 wont turn on without unplugging first.

just call philips and they will send you a new t.v.! it isn't a recall, that would be bad publicity!! i spoke with a philips representative yesterday concerning my 'possessed' television. a gentlemen informed me that philips has a 'rapid replacement program' for the described 'possessed' t.v. set. simply provide model and serial numbers, time and place of purchase, then provide street address for fed-ex delivery. approximate time of arrival is 10-15 days. you are directed to package and return the old set to nearest fed-ex pick up site. i am super excited that i took the time to call philips support. i think that i spent a total of 10 minutes on the telephone; it was time well spent. oh yea, here's the number!

SOURCE: Panasonic plasma TV model TH-42PD60U won't turn on

I had this problem in 2007 / 2008 here is what happened to me. Jan 09, 2008 - I also have brought the unit to the authorized Panasonic repair facility and the problem is a failure in the P-board which is the power supply board. The P-board needs to be replaced. The repair will cost $475 plus tax. $250 is for labor. The unit was nop more than two months out of warranty. This does not speak well for Panasonic. I have been researching the problem and it looks like this has happened to many of the Panasonic plasma TVs.
Jun 14, 2008 - As an update to my problem with the failed P board. Contacted Panasonic Service and talked to a customer service representative. I told them how I have purchased many Panasonic products and how unhappy I was with the failure of the product. They proposed paying the labor cost of $250 and I would pay for the part. I just hope it does not happen again.

SOURCE: my philips 42PFP5332D/37 keeps making a clicking

I had the same problem and it was the power supply board, but I replaced it myself and only spent about $140.00 for the part and 2 day shipping . It was easy just pull the back cover off and there are about 8 small screws that hold it on and like 6 connectors that's it. Also ShopJimmy.com was the place for parts on these T.V.'s.

Phillips LCD TV model 52PFL5704D/F7 at first had sound but no picture, now has no sound or picture. Which board is the likely culprit, T-Con or main?

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Won't turn on, left unplugged for months and then it worked for a couple of months and now won't turn on

Most times caused capacitor problems of well deformed capacitors with to tigh voltage tolerance replace if find bulged or leaking ones with 10 volt higher models the protection mode should after start being activated because of secundairy power supply voltages are no longer smooth flattened and become too high, A heartfelt tip for research , do not use a variac to circumvent the protection power supply voltage without the use of a 200 w lamp in the serial ac line of the primary circuit when troubleshooting , or it will fire -out otherwise undetected a few piece of sometimes hard to get expensive active components.
good luck

Philips 42pfl3704d/f7 No power at all

its definitely the fuse. you have to go to the phillips website and type in your model number to get the right fuse. I went thru 3 different fuses and they all blew right away. phillips website sells the right ones 5 bucks each. Get it here and it will save you trouble trust me.

If nothing happens no light or sound when you plug it in to the wall it is definitely the fuse. mine was a T8AH250VP. You have to be sure to get that exact fuse. every letter exactly like that. there are a lot of similar fuses that will blow the moment u plug it in.

Hope this helps took me a month to figure this out. I was going to buy powerbaords for no reason. fixed my 42 inch phillips for under 10 dollars. couldn't be happier. Also always run your tv threw a power ack. If you plug directly to the wall your fuse will blow frequently.
