Move your mouse along the bottom till the bar rises. You may have it in auto hide mode. Or, push the Windows key on the keyboard if you have one.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: My Hp 520 Laptop doesent show standby option activated

Either it is not enabled in your BIOS or you dont have the chipset drivers installed .

Reboot , hit F1 , go into settings for APM and verify it is enabled.

In it is enabled in BIOS and not selectable in windows , renistall the chipset drivers. Go to this link , select your OS , download and install.

Should be enabled. If not check device manager for any ! symbols.

SOURCE: My Compaq presario V3000 laptop is not restarting

Do not re-install anything...

It is an overheating issue. The "paste" between the processor and the heat sink has deteriorated over time and the heat sink is separated from the cpu or not making a good heat conduction contact.

Although it is possible for you to do (take laptop apart), I suggest a repair shop.... but get an estimate and have it done while you wait... don't buy any other "services"..

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: my compaq c700 get shut

It is not your processor that is making extra noise it is your Heat sink fan for the processor. Your laptop is shutting down due to an over heating problem. My solution is to always keep the vents on the sides and bottom of the laptop open to free air. If the problem still persists, i would recommend buying a laptop cooler. Amazon has some good ones for cheap.

The icons you see on the function keys only work if you press the Fn key (lower left of the keyboard). Otherwise, each key functions just as it should--as a Special function key with a number on it.

Scanner won't work with compaq cq58

You orobably do not have the required drivers for the scanner. I suggest you to browse the manufacturer's website and download and install the latest updates from there. Also if they recommend any utitlity along with driver intall it and then try to scan the document. This will hopefully resolve the issue.
