Hello freudianslip,

Since you said that you moved the TV set and then this problem occurred, this leads me to believe that this is a case of mechanical failure (cold solder connections). I say this because so rarely does moving a TV cause a failure in the electronics of the TV.
Now to fix this problem one might suggest that you take a soldering iron and some solder and start locating the possible cold solder connections and touch them up. I will not suggest that, because most sets now have SMCs (surface mounted components) which require specialized equipment to remove or to refinish soldering work, even with the right equipment there is a chance of doing real damage to the TV set.
I say, since you know the approximate area of the problem (DVD inputs RCA Ports), you should relay this to a qualified TV repair person and then have them troubleshoot and repair this problem. I know this was not what you wanted to hear since this is a fix it yourself site, however as a owner of a TV repair shop I have had many people bring their sets in after effecting repairs on complicated electronics because someone gave good advise, but the skill level of the TV owner was not up to the level of the person giving the advise.

One the off chance that this is an electronics problem my guess would be the video processor section, in which case taking it to a TV repair shop is a wise decision also for the same reasons mentioned above.

I hope this helps
Thank you,
Shuttle83

my best advice is to sever the wires going into the unit at a point where they are in good condition, obtain a soldering device and solder, some heat shrink tubing addtiquit for the size of wire and connect your new power cord to the these ends, make cretin that the common or wight and the hot witch is black be connected respectively

Good luck and best regards Falco Mueller

Yes, keep in mind that the amps have a constant power (the large red wire) and need a remote signal to tell them when to turn on/off. This wire connect to a switched 12v from the ignition or radio blue wire (if aftermarket)

Need to reconnect dryer power cord. Black to

In most cases your black and red wires will be the hot wires and the bare(green) or white will be your ground and grounding wires.

I need to replace the power cord

you will have to open up the back of the tv. This can be a very dangerous as there can be a lot of stored voltage inside even if its unplugged. If you choose to do it, look on the back of the circuit board for an empty connector that used to have the power cord. Sometimes they are soldered striaght in, Do you have a replacement? Also if there is some wire left you can splice the wires togeher without having to do any soldering.

just follow the power cord where it goes into the tv and there is a small glass fuse right there, check to see if the small wire inside it is burnt out or if the fuse appears to be white or black inside.

I think you should buy a video sender. It will take audio from your audio console and send wireless to a free channel to any free TV channel. No cables!

Check the solder connections on the flyback and also right next to the flyback there is a small white coil with copper wrapped around it that will sometimes arch causing the solder to need re-soldering

Power cord pulled out

i have just pulled the back by removing 5 or 6 screws. you can see the circuit board, and the power cord is soldered directly into the board. two wires, one black and one white. near the left back corner--- from the back. you can re solder it.
