Region unlock for Panasonic DVD-LS92

I have a Panasonic DVD-LS92 portable DVD player, and I need to remove the region lock. I'm happy to pull it apart and solder or cut jumpers, and I have a Logitech remote that I can send codes with. All help appreciated.

How can I break the Region code for Panasonic DVD-LS92

To change the Region code on your DVD player, open Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device manager, and click on DVD/CD ROM drives, then right click on the DVD drive and click Properties then click on DVD Region.
You can enter a new region and it also shows you how many changes have been made.
NOTE you can make only 4 changes and the player will lock permanently on the 4th change.
If you want to play DVDs from any region you maybe able to upgrade the firmware to make it region free BUT if you make a mistake or installed the wrong firmware the player will be a piece of junk.
The best solution to make the player region free is to install a piece of software (Passkey for DVD) that allows you to play DVDs from any region and Passkey for Blu-ray that allows you to play Blu-rays from any region. There are several available on the Internet but my favourite is DVD-Region Free From: -

Require to unlock Region Codes for an RCA Portable DVD player code DRC6318E. Can you help please

I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in playing other region disc in the RCA Portable DVD player. Please follow the below steps to unlock the region code and check the operation:
  1. Turn on the player without any disc inside
  2. Enter the code "321 789 456" before the player menu appears
  3. Select 'all' in the appearing list for region free
  4. Turn the player off

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know the result after performing the steps. Also let me know if you require further assistance.

Want to unlock Region 4 DVD-LS83 portable player to Region Free or 0.

It's not on the list there at:

But look around at other similar sites, and, or perhaps some other special Panasonic control sequences will work.

PANASONIC DVD RECORDER DMR-ES35V

DVDs are region coded. This means that they will only play on a DVD player from the region the DVD was produced to be watched in. For example, an Australian DVD is Region 4. It will only play on a Region 4 player. If you try to play it on a player that is set for a different region, it will probably not play. One way around this is to get hold of a multi region player. These are widely available. Alternatively, you should be able to watch the DVD on your computer, although you may need some region free software if your computer's dvd player has been locked. Usually computer DVD players will allow you to play DVDs from any region a few times and then they will lock to a particular Region Code. If you are in North America, you will need a PAL player. The only other thing you may be able to do is to unlock your existing player to convert it to region free. Many DVD players can be unlocked but you would need to find the unlock information for your paticular player. Hope this helps....
