Cash register express database

I added a new station and now I cannot access any of my original database material i.e. inventory is clear now. I cannot revert back to the original station either, is there any way that I can undo this? I don't have an uptodate back up either, nor would I know the passwords for the backup.

Hi.
E10 means drawer not closed within the given time (in programming). if you have the drawer closed already, make sure all three wires are connected between the drawer and the register (one of them senses the drawer state). Apart from that, you might have a programming, or memory issue. Has anyone played with the programming?

SOURCE: how do i clear an error code on a casio cash register?

Not positive, but I think you have to unplug the unit for 5-10 seconds then plug it back in. Some require a certain key position and operation of certain buttons to clear the codes.

At least 3 seconds or more delay in opening the cash drawer and printing a transaction receipt.

How to delete restaurant pro and start over


Backup database first.
Log your license key by trying to register. It should display.
Uninstall RPE from Programs in Control Panel. Then search for the CRE.net folder and rename it CREOLD.net. Then reload RPE.
After install, it will ask you to re-register. It will also ask you if you want to keep existing database. If you are starting from scratch, choose over write with a new one. Otherwise, keep existing db. This will preserve your inventory and menu setup.

PCAmerica does usually recommend turning off all firewalls, windows and others. However, they also have a procedure for running the sql server on a static port that will allow the firewall to be turned on using exceptions for this static port. I have never tried this option, but I can send it to you or try and help you.

If you clear database does this clear the entire menu prgramming? or just the inventory / sales records?


It depends on the version you are running. Always backup your database before doing this. When you clear database, another screen appears with options. You can then choose between several things including just sales/invoices or A/R transactions.

MY CASH REGISTER EXPRESS IS FREEZING VERY VERY BADLY ALTHO I PUT IN MORE RAM N IT WAS WORKING MUCH FASTER IT IS MOVING EVEN SLOWER NOW THAN WEN IT HAD IN LESS RAM. PLZ HELLPP


You probably have a database problem. If it gets to large, your PC will slow to a crawl during transactions or just freeze. I see you had an earlier post about the database backup not working. This would also indicate a large database or problem. Three options.

1. Clear database and start anew. You don't loose configuration, just all sales data.

2. Reinstall SQL server and hope your database is intact.

3. If you have a backup of database from before problem, restore it and see if it works. You would lose all sales data from backup date till now.
