OK, you will need to replace the main control board on the back of the refrigerator. There is an access panel on the rear lower right side. Remove the cover to gain access to the board. Be sure to take note of the wiring connections so you don't get them crossed up. I always take a picture of the connections before I replace the board. Here is the new board to order.http://bit.ly/TpI8Jy Keep me posted.

SOURCE: GE Arctica Profile getting too cold, temp set to 37 actual temp is 25-35

Wow, so you dropped some money into it, eh? I would take a look at the damper door asslb(DIFFUSER). located at the very top left of your refrigerator section in back. It has a motorized door that opens and close's and it may be stuck open. More than likely it is broken and needs to be replaced. GOODLUCK!!!!

FYI: All your cold air in your refrigerator comes from your freezer!

SOURCE: Freezer is only cold not freezing, fridge is cool not cold

You will need to remove the rear panel in the back of the freezer compartment. If Frozen over defrost with a hair dryer. At the bottom you will see a defrost heater WR51X10101 Defrost Heater it has glass around the element inside and will be easy to spot if burned out. Let me know what you find, Sea Breeze

GE Profile Arctica fridge running too cold

You may want to check your damper assembly to see if the door is broken. If the door is broken it will air to migrate to the refrigerator compartment causing freezing issues. Also check to make sure that the damper door is not staying open. When you take the cover off with the door open the damper should close. If the damper is open then you need to replace the damper. Here is the damper to order.

Fridge section not cooling enough but freezer OK

Is the fan blowing in the freezer section? Also, check to see if you have airflow thru the damper (vent) in the frig section.

Won't dispense ice

Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking same part needs replaced. The water valve at the bottom rear of fridge.

The unit keeps freezing up solid even on energysaver

Change or clean the filter and clean both coils, no air flow or reduced air flow, the coil will freeze. It will also freeze if its set to cold 72 min. setting. Example if your room temp is 72 degrees, than the air will be 52, and the coil temp is 32 degrees, any moisture will freeze. Hope this helps

GE Profile refrigerator temperature problem

refrigerators have 2 coils. the evaporator coil and the condensing coil. one is on the bottom of the fridg and one is on the back or inside behind a false panel. these coils must be kept clean or if the condensing coil cannot reject the heat absorbed by the evaporator, the box temp will stay high and if the evap coil cant absorb heat the box temp stays low running the risk of freezing

GE GSS25LSMFBS IS FINE IN THE FREEZER SIDE BUT FREEZES IN THE REFRIGERATOR SIDE.

Sounds like you need to adjust your airflow into the frig compartment. There are two adjustments for air flow on a side/side one at top next to thermostat and one at bottom next to crisper. If your freezer is working properly like you say then you just simply need to balance the airflow to get the proper temp of just above freezing to 40 degrees
