Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: I've just installed a psda400 Diablotek power

Get another power supply from another company. I purchased a Diabletek PHD450. It failed out of the box (verified by using known good supply). This was in July 2009. I got a RMA and they returned the same dead power supply with the same problem. After several calls I got another RMA. I returned the supply. UPS confirmed delivery. they still have not sent a replacement. It is now April 2010. When I call the support number on their web site I am given another number - no one is ever there. NEVER AGAIN - DIABLOTEK IS DEAD.

I disconnected the power supply connections from the motherboard and i cannot get the mother board or panel to light up or power on. Is there a panel diagram that i can reference to.

yes'...... go to the motherboard makers website, go to the support pages and look for the model number of your motherboard and download the user manual, in there look for the panel hookup diagram for your motherboard/ should be real easy to find even if its a old motherboard.

Power switch is not working

IT SOUNDS AS IF YOUR NOT GETTING THE WIRES ON THE MOTHERBOARD IN THEIR PROPER PLACES. DO YOU HAVE THE BOOK THAT CAME WITH THE MOTHERBOARD, MOST BOARDS N EED ONE WIRE TO GO TO A SEPARATE SET OF POWER PINS AND THEN ONE GOES TO THE SWITCH. THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT PLACES. ALL POWER SUPPLIES HAVE DIFFERENT WIRES, THE WIRE THAT SAYS PWR GOES TO THE 2PINS ON THE BOARD THAT ALSO SAY PWR, AND THE SWITCH PINS ARE PART OF THE LONG ROW OF PINS WHERE THE SPEAKER AND RESET ETC. ARE LOCATED. YOU COULD PROBABLY FIND A SCHEMATIC OF YOUR BOARD ONLINE IF YOU HAVE YOUR BOARD MODEL NUMBERS.

CONNECTIONS TO THE MOTHER BOARD POWER WIRES

All of the plugs? Most of them should be straight forward. Thin ones around an inch wide, go to your CD and hard drives, long one around 1cm x 1.5inch goes into the same socket on the board (there will only be one of them). You may also have another socket on the board thats 1cmx1cm and requires 4 pins, there will be one connected to the power supply that fits it. You can find the manual (will contain a diagram for you) at; http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=46&DetailName=New&DetailDesc=P4VMM2%20%20(V1.1A)&CategoryID=1&MenuID=82&LanID=0
