Question about HP PhotoSmart 7350 InkJet Printer

HP 7350 printing goes through the motions but nothing

My printer suddenly began not printing anything. When I push "print" the printer responds with feeding a paper and the cartridges run across the top of the page a couple times, then feeds the paper on through. If I push "test" under the printer controls, I get a good test page, so I know the printer cartridges are good, the printer works, and the connection is good between the printer and computer. I have also reinstalled the drivers and checked the HP website for updated drivers.

Any ideas?

This happened when I replaced the black ink cartridge. I put in a different one and the same thing happened just in case there was just enough ink in the other one to print the test page. I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it. Also upgraded the driver. It still will ot print. Test page is good but when I try to print any kind of document, webpage, and pictures it will not print paper just comes out. Prnt head goes across and then spits out the paper.

I have the same problem as mentioned above. Does anyone know where else we can find the answer? HP hasn't been much help.

I had the same problem and couldn't figure it out until I found this on the web - I changed the DEP setting and now I can print just fine. Hope this helps you too!!

I just figured out my issue. It had to do with DEP − Data Execution
Prevention. I had remembered that I was fooling around with this a couple
weeks ago and had changed it to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services
except those I select" in which I had Windows Explorer checked. I just got
done selecting the original which states "Turn on DEP for essential Windows
programs and services only", rebooted, and now I can print again to my hp
7350 printer.
The DEP can be found under control panel−>system−>Advanced Tab−>Performance
Settings−>Data Execution Prevention Tab
Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. All tests indicated computer, printer and all connections were working appropriately but it still would not print. Even changing the ink cartridges did not help. However, once I reset the DEP, it began working like magic. THANK YOU! Spread the good word -----

Won't print at all

Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

I have a hp 2820 and it will not print copy or scan. it goes through the motions like it is printing but nothing prints on the page. any suggestions

Could be a bad laser, or the laser shutter may not be opening. If the Laser shutter is not opening. it can be because the printer cover has a broken notch. The notch pushes a button under the cover to open the shutter.
