Question about NorStar M7324 Telephone
Currently and external numberXXX-XXX-XXXX is ringing on a specific number AAA and then going to its vm. What the customer wants is for the external number to not only ring on AAA but also another number BBB and then all goes to BBB voice mail.
Assign the Line XXX to BBB as Appear and Ring or Ring Only (on intercom key)
Now the line rings on both sets
Administration/Capabilities/Sets/ AAA & BBB:
-Change AAA\'s Forward No Answer Ring count to 4 rings
-Change BBB\'s Forward No Answer Ring count to 3 rings
-Obviously make sure the Forward No Answer is pointing to the DN of the voice mail system on both sets
-Make sure Forward Busy is set to Non on both sets
Because the ring count is shorter on BBB all calls will dump in the mailbox of BBB

It sounds like you are using a voicemail service from a provider, meaning you did not buy the voicemail system with the phone system. If you confirm, I can tell you how to fix this.

Fress F985 u will get voicemail DN. Note down ur voice mail DN.
Go to programming of Norstar which will be F**266344 password will be 266344.
Dispaly shows u terminal and extensions.
then next display will show u capabilities.
Press show then next display will show u FWD no answer.Press show then change put the voicemail Dn which u had written then next.
Now call will go to ur voicemail provided u have ur own presonal mailbox. If it is not there u will have to createe it otherwise it will go to general delivery mailbox.

Use feature 986 (transfer to VM) then enter in the co-workers extension number. That will bypass the extension and send the caller directly to his voicemail.

It sounds like you didn't attach his extension to the mailbox if your getting a log prompt.Look at F983>1020000>mbox>chng>his ext. #>next>and see if his ext. # is listed here. Also, whats his ext. number? It's not 100 per chance is it?
