We would like to mount our L37 HDTV 10A on the wall.
We are trying to mount our TV on the wall. It has 8 small screw holes on the back? We are wondering if it needs a plate on the back or if it can be directly attached to the wall mount.
I have the same TV (L37 HDTV 10A) and a Sylvania SYL-P12LB mount. I called Sylvania's HELP #`888-978-1188 and was told 4 of their smallest machine screws (M4) will hold this TV. I don't believe it would be safe to mount a 70 or 80 pound TV on a wall with just 4 M4 bolts. I have the same TV (L37 HDTV 10A) and a Sylvania SYL-P12LB mount. What type of wall mount would I need for a 32in Emerson LCD320EM9 HDTV LCD. And how do I mount it to the back of the TV. TV on back only has two holes for screws?
See page 8 of the manual at:

The bracket shown there looks like the mounting holes (4?) are vertical on the back of the TV. They may be identified by an arrow pointing to them. There will be two holes on each side of the TV centerline to attach the vertical components of the bracket that hang on the horizontal angle bars on the wall.
any hardware store will have them bring your tv manual with you it will tell you the spec on the screw to connect to the 4 pre existing nuts on the back of the tv as far as from the mount to wall it will be a standard lag bolt small enough to fit threw the hole and long enough to go threw the drywall and about an inch and a half of the studd 2" to 2 1/2" inch lag bolt will work
