Check its panel control switches. Replace the panel control board. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. I also got a black screen! I then turned the TV off, pressed TV and while it was lit, quickly pressed info, menu and then mute. Then switched the tv back on and amazingly......the menu was there. Go to item 12 and reset. I am please to say that we are back in business,

it has something to do with the key pad assembly, i guess the source button may be sticking in. Has the key pad board been disconnected?

sounds like it needs a re set
you need to press the following: (do not hesitate between presses)
when the tv comes back on follow original installation set up
