We have a scunci recharge cordless wet-dry vac model # 52033. The battery does not charge. What can we do to fix this?

if the charger is working, and the battery does not hold a charge for very long, you will need a replacement battery. this is the most likely problem. if the battery does not charge at all it may well be the charger and you will need to replace that. hope this helps

I need a manual for ridgid wet/dry vacs model #wd16500

Hello,

I was unable to find the model WD16500 instruction manual anywhere online. In fact I did even find a link to that products owners manual, but when I clicked through the page no longer exists on Ridgid's site. I was able to find the parts diagram for the WD16500, and the instruction manual for the WD16600 which is also a 16 Gallon Detach Wet/Dry Vac, also with a detachable blower, and the model that even replaced the WD16500.

I also left you the number to Ridgid if you'd like to contact them, they may be able to mail you a paper copy of the instruction booklet.

I hope this helps you:

Instruction Manual:

Parts Diagram:

Phone Number for the Ridgid Company:

If this was helpful, please be so kind to rate my answer as helpful, this is what keeps me coming back to Fixya to help people with their vacuum related questions. Thanks alot, I really do appreciate it.

I have a 4.5 HP Craftman Wet Dry vacuum. The canister craked around where the wheels are. I probably need a new canister. Would you know where I can pick one up?

I use searspartsdirect.com. this site has parts breakdowns too. You will just need to check the price. sometimes they charge too much for parts and its not worth it. this is a true Sears website.

Water isdischarging from the exhaust of my new Ridgid Wet/Dry Vac

Hi Robinm61,

I always have the filter in - - it helps protect the motor.

If you're going to vac liquids, I recommend use of an intermediate trap to stop most of the liquid from getting to my vac (makes clean-up a LOT easier). A cyclone-top (available at Rocker.com, for example) fitting on a 5-gallon pail works great. The liquid is mostly deposited in the 5-gal pail, and doesn't gum-up the guts of your vac. You need another section of hose, but that's another one of those tools that is hard to have too-much of. (Rockler also sells a nice hose as part of it's Vacuum Tool Kit - also at Rockler.com). If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance,

Jon

why is there nothing coming out of the machine?

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 9400 ProHeat Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum. The problem is that you may have a bad switch or pump in the vacuum or a release valve could be stuck or broken. Please check your owner’s manual for the trouble shooting page to see what they suggest or contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or then contact the Bissell Factory cust serv line listed below: So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Hello,

No…. I would advise NOT running the machine without the filter because you will burn up the motor. You can use a paper bag with a rubber band to slide over the motor to protect it from dust and also if you have a foam type filter – you can put the foam filter on first, then the paper bag then the rubber band, or if you have a cartridge filter you can run it with just the cartridge filter bur would suggest cleaning the cartridge filter after each use – also you can place the paper bag method over the cartridge filter as well or call the Delonghi factory and order the part or they will direct you to a local dealer, Info listed below:

go online to www.bissell.com and find an authorized bissell parts and service dealer located near you. Call them and see if they have the part in stock. If they do, it's easy to replace it.
