Hard drive clicks won't turn

When a hard disk makes a clicking sound and the computer does not detect it then the hard disk is faulty. This is commonly known as "The click of death".
There is no way of fixing this hard drive, if you need to recover your data, then there are companies that can recover data off faulty hard drives BUT it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services.

You shoud use Crisis Disk Recovery Creator to reload your BIOS. First search on net the BIOS file, it should be max. 1Mb syze and download it, it must be in .wph format. Download Crisis disk program, ver. 3 or 4 that supports USB memory cards, max. 4Gb. Copy the BIOS file in the crisis folder and rename it as BIOS.wph. Click on wincris.exe, select your USB device, it will create your Crisis disk on it. Your USB will be formated. Then, disconnect the battery from your laptop and the AC cable, insert USB card, press Fn+Esc and keep it pressed, connect the AC, wait 10 secs, power on the laptop, after 5-10 secs you can hear some beeps, then release Fn+Esc and wait 5 minutes. The laptop should restart completely functional.

Interior lights stay and alarm goes off every time i lock it

Your car thinks a door is open , thus the light stays on. When you lock the doors with the remote it activates the alarm system. 10 sec later it senses that the a door is open and alarm sounds.
I have a 99 passat as well and I just went outside to see where the switch on the door is. Can't see one anywhere , it must be inside the door (part of the latch mechanism). I tried to arm the alarm system by locking the doors with the remote while the door was still open , sure enough the alarm went off about 15 secs later.

Laptop won't start-up

Can you tell me if the status lights on the power adapter and/or the battery turns on? Because you are telling me the status lights only stay on for 30 seconds, this should be a power connection problem.

One other possibility: can you tell me the climate environment of where you use your laptop?
