Question about Saeco Odea Giro Plus Coffee Maker

1 Answer

I purchased a second hand Saeco Royal Professional coffee machine and the frother does not work. When I press the button all I hear is a pumping sound but no suction what so ever. Also when I use the steamer about 30mls of water goes into the milk.

Why wont the steamer work

hi,
he pump presses hot water through the grind not steam.
if the coffee is hot and hot water is dispensed, your line are clocked.
descale the machine as directed.
if coffee is cold the heat element is toasted. very unlikely though, since the machine will not dispens coffee, pump running if correct temperature is not reached.
good luck

I have a Saeco Royal Professional at work and when each of the three coffee size buttons are pressed you get three different sized coffees. I have just bought a new Saeco Royal professional for home and...

Hi
Push and hold the button for the coffee you want, but hold it all the way through the process. Don't release the button until you get the amount of coffee you want for that button, then release the button. That should get you the same amount next time. You can do this for each coffee button. If that didn't fix it you might have a bad flow meter.

Nead help pleace

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put a cup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch the discharged water and press the hot water button (upper left button on my machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually 3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.

Saeco Royal coffee machine

There is probably something wrong with the milk frother. I would purchase a new one before having the machine serviced.
