Re: nx 142 4gb memory wont go past loading screen.
I would first plug the unit into the computer and make sure that the unit is fully charged. After that, check to make sure that there are folders, with content (mp3s, videos or pictures) to make sure that the unit has something to load in the first place. If there are and the files don't exceed the maximum capacity of the unit you are most probably dealing with a defective unit. I bought my naxa mp3 player from jujudeals.com so it comes with a 30 day warranty, however I'm pretty sure that the unit itself comes with a 90 day manufacturers warranty, in which case you would have to contact naxa. Either way, you probably shouldn't worry, just get it replaced.

If you can connect the camera to your PC via a cable, normally USB, to browse the contents of the camera's internal memory then try simply to do a search on the camera's 'drive' for .png, .jpeg or .jpg, .bmp or any other filetype that your camera would use. Your PC should be able to find any files using those file types and display them. From there you can copy or cut and paste them to a location on your PC's hard drive. You may have to make sure that your computer has Show Hidden Files and Folders turned on under Folder Options. Normally, a camera saves all videos and pictures in a folder called DCIM, even on internal storage.
Get the external card reader and connect in desktop machine or laptop. Insert the SD card in external card reader and browse the SD card content in My Computer. Choose & copy the files, data, music files in local drive then paste the data in the SD card.

I this works I would recommend a sandisk ultra 2 as a replacement card, worked for me!

software program? If you did, disconnect the camera from the USB Port and
reinstall the software program. When the program asks you to reconnect
the printer, then plug the cable back into the USB port and it should function

youll need a card reader hooked up to your computer via a USB and your memory card.
If required, youll load your memory card into the card reader. Your digital media will appear as another drive on your computer. Click the drive and your photos will appear in a folder on the drive. You can view your pictures immediately by double-clicking the file. From here, you can save your pictures directly to any folder on your computer.
