SOURCE: Need video or large diagram instructions for what to put together

Before using steam mop, vacuum up or run dust mop over floors to release all loose dust and debris. Notice if anything like tar or stuck on food that sticks up a bit from floor and remove. (The stea, mop can clean surface drips but not something that you can feel sticks up by running finger over it; remove from floor first).

Attach the rectangular attachment to the bottom of the steam mop as seen in diagram showing it all put together; this is the main pic for the steam mop.

Then choose the purple pocket, (the shaggy latex looking one with the 'little fingers or knobs) and attach to the rectangular attachment. You may have to open the velcro along the top first, but then slide it up from bottom toward where the rest of the mop is, as if putting a pillow on a pillow case. Tug a bit at the top so you can fasten the velcro tabs together over the top of the attachment.

Unscrew knob that is on the front at about waist high on the mop. Fill the cup provided with water to the fill mark. Pour water into the water holder and replace knob and turn just a bit until tight.

Plug the cord into an electric outlet.

Place mop in area to be cleaned.
Wait about 1 minute and then start pushing the mop on your floors. You will need to use a scrubbing motion back and forth as it is this motion that releases the steam. The mop is not self propelled; it takes some muscle to scrub/mop the floors with steam coming out.

Mop one small area at a time and go back over it to clean that area. i.e. in a relatively small room, clean two boards at a time from one end to the other; in a larger room or hallway, clean about a 3-4 foot section at a time.

If you have a fairly large area or more than 2 small-medium rooms, you may have to refill with water, but not usually. If you do need to refill, be sure to unplug mop first, then repeat from start of mopping.

Remember as you are cleaning that you can flip the mop foot over and use the other side of the pocket. For example, after cleaning a 10'x10' surface.

This should work for you. I know I had to look up video just to see what they were cleaning with on each surface although no directions. (The one below does not show the purple pocket in use for wood floors but that is the one you use; you could probably use a white quilted one on lamintate floors so presume that's what they were doing here and that was not hardwood):

Hope this helps

On these steam mops you have to use distilled water, if you use tap water and do not have

a water softner, the feeder tubes that pull the water to create steam will be reduced in size

and clog up. the only other option is to take it apart, and replace the hoses, i used some

small fuel line with spring clamps that i bought at an auto supply, it works! good luck!
