SOURCE: can't install epson tm-t88iii serial

unistall the epson driver.
reboot your system.
connect and turn on the printer.
reinstall the driver, v3.02, selecting for create a serial port.
choose the right setting os serial interface.
after install, reboot your system.

it works to me.

If you have the Cables2GO USB to Parallel converter, it is a pain to get working. Go to Radio Shack and buy the GigaWire USB to Parallel.
Then once plugged in, go the printer that will be using the converter. Go to the printer properties, select the PORTS tab. Select the 'VIRTUAL PRINTER PORT FOR USB'. That worked for me!

Driver install EPSON TM-T88IV serial in windows 7

You maybe able to download the driver from Epson's WEB site. If the Windows 7 printer driver is not available then this printer is too old and Epson would like you to purchase a later model printer.

Hi!

Are you using a third party USB adapter or a USB interface? On the self test page that you printed does it say USB connection or something that will say about USB? or does it say parallel or serial connection? try to check the dip switches setting if its configured properly. visit epsonexperts.com site for more info.

The solution:
Link www.epson-pos.com and register, after that, follow this path:
Thermal line printers
Choose your model
Epson Advanced Printer Driver for TM Series (the first option for Windows7)
Install it, it Works properly.

Good day!Did you check the cable on it?is the printer on when you test it?is the driver compatible with the vista?..you can see the documentation..or do you have many printers installed on your computer now then you forgot to set it as your default printer?..
