I have a Samsung ML-2010 mono laser not printing

Yes, you can make a self print test from the printer even if the printer is not connected to the computer. This means that the unit is in good working condition. Possibly your printer doesn't communicate with your computer. try this, hit start key>control panel>fax and printers>select your printer>right click to properties>click ports tab>check if the port is matched to the port you are using.also, make sure it is your default printer.

PRINTER IS NOT WORKING

So, your saying you haven't installed the software? That would be the problem.

Copy and paste the following link into your address bar. Download the appropriate print driver. (save the file to your desktop). Run the installation program:

My samsung ML-2010 JUST DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE!

Is it connected directly too the computer or to a network?

What it sounds like is that you are having a spoiler problem, the computer is intialized but its not getting the info to print. Or it could be a printer malfunction, something mechanical isn't working right in the printer. If you've removed the ink cartridge and replaced it, it could be out of place or not seated right. Other components could be locked up. If the light goes red could you tell us what the error message is? And have you looked at your user guide for information on possible errors?

Can I print in Dos Programme with USB Printer

Assuming the printer can understand DOS coded printouts (which most should be able to), you can do it like this: Go to Control Panel | Printers | ML 2010 and share the printer. Then go to a command prompt Start | Run | type cmd Assuming that you share it with the share name "MYPRINTER" and the computer is called "MYCOMPUTER", then type NET USE LPT2: \\MYCOMPUTER\MYPRINTER /PERSISTENT:YES at a command prompt. Now you can print to LPT2: and the output will go to the USB-connected printer. To find your computer name, right click on the My Computer icon (either on your desktop or the start menu) and choose properties. The window that opens will have a Computer Name tab.
