Question about Toshiba Tecra A5-S416 Notebook
I replaced the power cord and converter and still nothing, no lights, sound, NOTHING. help i'm new with this computer with no manual . please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have replaced the power pack (assuming the power pack is BRAND NEW and has a green light to indicate that there is power going into the adapter) i've seen cases where the green light is on the power pack but no juice is flowing to the laptop - so if its2nd hand i'd look at a new one.
Failing that remove battery and try - battery could be casuing the motherboard not to accept power due to faulty battery
Failing you have tried all the above then it looks like your motherboard needs replacing
