Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Xbox 360 Won't Play Dialogue On Any Game

Some dialogue can be heard.
For example: when playing Elder Scrolls V: Oblivion, when you select someone to speak to them, there voice isn't heard. When you are talking to no one, you can hear people talking amongst themselves.
The following games are having these dialogue/volume problems: Fallout 3, Bioshock, Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, and Mirror's Edge.
I haven't tried the other games I have, but I'm pretty sure they'd be effected too.

Hi. Try this. You will lose any achievements you have earned since your profile went offline.

  2. Access the dashboard, go into system settings, then into the memory option. Find your profile.
  3. Delete the corrupted profile.

My games arnt saving, and/or I'm not receiving any acheivements. " failed to right gamer profile settings. One possible reason is if you removed your xbox 360 memory unit. Changes to your profile...

this may be caused from copying files over to another gamertag in which you wouldnt get achievements now about not saving the memory may be full or the system itself is not detecting the drive for memory

Not really but some games like g.o.w demand more from the graphics processor i'd figure you should stop playing it because it might be damaging your 360

Freezing during oblivian

Oblivion uses the Xbox 360 hard drive to cache game data and in some cases the info stored on the hard drive can get fragmented, slowing down the game's performance. Bethesda has already found out a way to fix the issue. Here is the official word: Oblivion uses the Xbox 360 hard drive extensively to cache (copy and reuse) game data. This is done to optimize all loading the game does. It has been found in rare cases on some Xbox 360s that the cached data can get overly fragmented. This exhibits itself by the game taking a long time to load anything from menus, dialogue, sounds, objects, levels, and more. To solve this problem, reset your Xbox, and hold down the A button as the game is booting up. If any button is held while Oblivion is loading, it will clear its hard drive cache, and create a new one. Once you see the ?Bethesda Softworks? logo video, the game is already loaded, and the cache should have been cleared. Note, this does not effect your game in any way other than loading. You will not lose any saved data.
