Ok this sounds like a similar problem that I have had with a 500xc engine...This engine has been running fine for the last 5 yrs until a few weeks ago when it became a pig to start and when it did only run on one cylinder eventually running on both and when it gets to a certain temp would cut out and then not start again for 5mins, changed everything we could think of, checked compression, barrels fine, carbs clean new cdi, coil, plugs, leads, fuel pump and pipes, then someone came accross with checking the resistance on the temp sensor on the top of the head which were different values to the the book and on another identical engine, I borrowed a spare sensor and although still a pig to start it was an improvement when running, need to buy a new sensor to rule it out
, can anyone else shine some light on this?

With both of your questions the parts book is a recomendation for a specific condition. If you have 410's now and the spark plug looks like it's burning a nice caramel brown then you are fine. If the spark plug looks like it's burning white you need even bigger jets, if you are burning black then you need to go smaller. Always change them by one or two sizes and check again. As for the weights, the different weights change shift points of the clutch a heavier weight would cause the primary clutch to engage at a different rpm, I am in a stage of trial and error on which ones to use to make the clutch shift when and how I want it to.

The Polaris RMK and Victory Vegas Low are the exact same bike with different colors and names.
They are made by Ming Cycle in Taiwan and are distributed by an American company-----Cycle Force Group.
The Polaris and Victory are Ming's top of the line dual suspension mountain bike, they have upgraded wheels, front disk brakes and 19" frame. If color doesn't matter to you, then the Victory Vegas Low is usually the better deal.-------Can be found on Amazon, Wall mart, Miejer.
The Polaris and Victory generally have the best reviews and ratings of any dual suspension mountain bikes priced below $250
