Hi dlingquilt,
The f3 , e3 code is a faulty oven temperature sensor. If the temperatur sensor has gone bad during mid cycle then you may have overheated the oven aswell. It is never a good idea to leave a oven unattended while in operation. The temperature sensor can be replaced easily and inexpensively.
First off be sure to disconnect the power to the range. If you look inside the oven near the top you will see a little metal probe about the size of a pencil sticking through from the back. That is your temperature probe. It is held inplace by two 1/4 inch screws. You will need to pull the range out and remove the back panel to access the probe. This is a fairly simple repair and the error code should go away once the probe is replaced. If you would like me to ship you one of these I can send it out in the morning. The price is $59.99 shipped to your door. I can ship anywhere in the United States within 1-2 days. good luck to you and please dont forget to rate me.

I called the Sears repair man.
SOURCE: Electric Oven will not turn off
It's the EOC. However, I replaced my EOC on my Kenmore electric range and it still does not work. I had a Sears tech come out and check the stove. The temp probe was fine and he told me it was the EOC. After I told him it was already replaced, he said, "there's nothing more to do." I'm currently looking for a new stove.
Sorry, but try to replace your EOC and check the temp probe for resistance.
