Webcam not working

You will need to go MYComputer>System>Devices and delete the camera that is there (open all the + devices and find the camera- highlight it and then delete) and restart the computer with the proper driver on a USB stick or CD-ROM and reload the camera driver. Yr PC will detect new hardware and sometimes, the OEM Microsoft OS (Windows Version) CD-ROM will have the proper driver and it will work. First check the mfr's site for your PC and then if you can ID the camera mfr, try there. Save the correct file to a USB stick or CD-ROM for use when "Browse" comes up for the driver selection and lead the "browse" to the correct camera file on yr usb stick or CD-ROM drive by clicking on it. Just select "install" or "apply" as necessary and then reboot yr PC afterwards and see if it works. SKYPE a friend is a good way to check it.

If you do not have the CD or misplaced it somewhere then you need to download the driver software to get going. Thus you need to know all the above information to get the exact software your PC needs. As you have not mentioned the make of the webcam you are using, i am unable to give you the direct download link.
