Question about Canon P1-DHV Calculator

Adds on screen not printing whats on the screen

When I add it will show it correct on the screen, but when I go to print it will not print what I added. For exampl I put 5.06 +5.06 it will look like ..060E

..06* I just want it set for simlple addtion. I haven't used it in 1 1/2 years

How to turn printing on and off?


PRINT KEY: To save paper you can only print what is displayed, even in non-print mode. Pressing after the entry of a number will print the entry with the symbol “#” even in non-print mode. Pressing will insert a separator into a number entry such as a code, date, etc. Separators are displayed as a period and dashes but printed as periods. MEMORY + KEY / PRINT ON / OFF KEY: Pressing selects print mode or non-print mode. Cause the calculator to operate in a display / print or display only mode, depending upon the calculator’s present state. “P” on the display: Print mode. “NP” on the display: Non-print mode. MEMORY – KEY / DECIMAL SELECTION KEY: Pressing sets the number of decimal places in the result. “F” on the display: The answer is displayed in the floating decimal system. “3, 2, 1, 0” on the display: Presets the number of decimal places in the answer. “A” on the display (Add mode): The decimal point in addition and subtraction entries is automatically positioned to the 2nd digit from the lowest digit of entry number. How do I print a date format with sharp el 1801PIII?


To print the current date press once the Clock/Calendar key and then press once the Non Add/ Subtotal key (# key)
To print out any other date (or codes and other numbers that are not part of a calculation) just type it and then press the Non Add/ Subtotal key (# key). The date/number will be printed preceded by the # sign.

How to ink Casio FR 1211 Printing Calculator


I have a Casio FR-1211 Printing Calculator and I have the same problem. I removed the roller and tried inking the roller with "Sanford's Roll-On Stamp Pad Inker". It works beautifully ! I don't know how long it will last, but for now the print is dark and clear.

Sounds as though you have it set to the rate set position it just needs to be in the on position if not printing.

How do I turn off the Print function?


Press the '2nd' button, press the 'M+' button. 'NP' should appear on the display screen, and print function will be turned off.
