I have a sam4s ER-5200M. Today it started printing a 4 in front of all prices on the receipt. The screen says the correct amount.

http://cashregisterguys.com/files/Samsung_5200_40M_man.pdf

i saw this on page 116,it looks relevant,,,,,,,,,21.. Display add price of linked item? When Y, the customer display shows a total of the item and linked item. For example, if PLU is $1.00 and is linked to PLU2, which is $0.25, the display will show $1.25.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it doesnt add 40 dollars so that leads me to believe that there is an error with the printer, you might need to reset and start over or call the company, good luck.

How To Add Page Numbers to Prints / Copies on a Sharp Copier

This is a simple question that I am often asked, and I decided to put together a little guide on how to add page numbers in various programs/applications as well as from the copier's touch screen. Originally I thought this was something that could be dictated from a Sharp print driver, but it's not. It's accomplished by adjusting the settings of the actual document before you print it out.

Print Page Numbers Onto Copied Documents

1. On the Home screen, touch Copy
write_tip-smf2r4tpyjjq4h3ju4xuhwdx-5-0.png

2. On the Copy screen, touch Others at the bottom-left
write_tip-smf2r4tpyjjq4h3ju4xuhwdx-5-2.png

3. On the Others Screen, touch Stamp
write_tip-smf2r4tpyjjq4h3ju4xuhwdx-5-5.png
4. On the Stamp screen, move to the Page No. tab, then choose the location of the page where you want the page number. You can also choose the pattern or text style that you want the page number to be on the left side of the menu.

write_tip-smf2r4tpyjjq4h3ju4xuhwdx-5-9.png

5. Touch OK. Your copies will have the page number stamped in the position you chose.

Printing Page Numbers from Microsoft Word or Excel on a Windows PC

1. Open your document
2. Once you're ready to print the document, move to the Insert Tab, and choose Page Number, then choose the position where you'd like the page number printed, and the type/style of the numbering.
3. Your print outs will now have the page number printed on them.

Printing Page Numbers from Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Reader

First of all, Adobe Reader cannot add page numbers to PDF print outs. It's a READ ONLY tool incapable of editing documents. You'll need either Adobe Acrobat Pro, or software similar to what BatesNumberer.com offers.
There is a great video on tv.adobe.com that details how to add page numbers via Adobe Acrobat.

In Conclusion

Make the necessary changes to your document to add page numbering before you print it, or before you copy it. There are a ton of other great tutorials for Sharp copiers/printers at www.youtube.com/equipmybiz

Trying to add cannon mp450 printer to my mac and error 9672 shows up it will not print

Click OK on the message prompt to close the message.

Uninstall the Epson Printer software that came with your printer using the uninstaller. Follow the on-screen prompts to uninstall the product.

From the hard drive, click Applications, then click Utilities and select the Printer Setup utility.

Click Add.

If your printer shows up in the printer list, select Printer. If the printer does not show up in the list, choose either Bonjour or Rendezvous as the connection type and then select the printer from the list.

Under the Print Using list, select epson stylus CX5000.

In the list of available drivers, select the epson stylus CX5000 - Gimp-Print driver.

Click Add

Using the Gimp-print driver might provide basic print-only functionality. This driver is a built-in driver in the Macintosh Operating System and will not provide all of the features that are provided using a direct USB connection.

How to turn printing on and off?

PRINT KEY: To save paper you can only print what is displayed, even in non-print mode. Pressing after the entry of a number will print the entry with the symbol “#” even in non-print mode. Pressing will insert a separator into a number entry such as a code, date, etc. Separators are displayed as a period and dashes but printed as periods. MEMORY + KEY / PRINT ON / OFF KEY: Pressing selects print mode or non-print mode. Cause the calculator to operate in a display / print or display only mode, depending upon the calculator’s present state. “P” on the display: Print mode. “NP” on the display: Non-print mode. MEMORY – KEY / DECIMAL SELECTION KEY: Pressing sets the number of decimal places in the result. “F” on the display: The answer is displayed in the floating decimal system. “3, 2, 1, 0” on the display: Presets the number of decimal places in the answer. “A” on the display (Add mode): The decimal point in addition and subtraction entries is automatically positioned to the 2nd digit from the lowest digit of entry number. Use of the add mode permits addition and subtraction of numbers without entry of the decimal point. Use of , and will automatically override the add mode and decimally correct answers will be printed.

Start > Devices & Printers > Add a Printer > Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer

your router - make it a static IP beforehand) / Port name: [the autofill IP is fine] > Additional port

Once the install is complete go to the Devices and Printers screen and click on the new printer.
Click Customize your Printer, change the name if you prefer and then on the ports tab. Mine is
set to Protocol "Raw", Port Number 9100, Community Name "public". The only other thing I may be
doing differently is that I have set the printer to auto-show the print preview before printing.
Yes, its an additional click but it seemed to have made all the difference in my case. It also
gives you the chance to correct something like printing a second page with just a header URL, etc.

I realize that time is a luxury and not everyone has a lot of it, especially for trivial tasks
like addressing antiquated equipment compatibility issues after an upgrade, but I firmly believe
if you say can't enough, you WON'T. But for those who enjoy a challenge occasionally I hope this
points you in the right direction. Good luck
