Once we leveled our Electrolux slide in gas range, using it's feet, it created a gap between the left side and the countertop. Is there a filler (removable when necessary) we could use for th

Thank you for your post, Wendy Berg!

I understand that you are searching for a filler piece to go between your Electrolux range and countertop. I was unable to locate any type of filler piece I see the manufacture has a side trim kit, rear filler panel, and backguard kit but nothing specific to your request. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

How do i remove rear fender on night rod special

To remove a 2011 VRSCDX rear fender FIRST remove the main fuse under the right side cover first, then remove the tail light open the seat, remove the seat pillion, remove the fasteners and the passenger pillion, remove the electrical caddy and the six fasteners and the washers from the fender, remove the fender from the inner fender by lifting upward and sliding the fender back, remove the inner fender by removing the rear shocks and fasteners.

To install a 2011 VRSCDX rear fender FIRST install the inner fender and fasteners, tighten the fasteners to 95-110 Nm (75-81 ft-lbs), install the rear shocks using shock mount fasteners and tighten the fasteners to 41-68 Nm (31-50 ft-lbs), install the rear fender by sliding it into the slot on the tail lamp panel and aligning the fender with the bolt holes on the inner fender, install the six fender fasteners and tighten them to 4.5-7.5Nm (40-66 in-lbs), install the tail lamp, install the passenger pillion and its fasteners. And tighten them to 20-26 Nm (15-19 ft-lbs), install the main fuse, install the right side cover and ensure that the headlamp, tail lights and stop lamp and turn signals are operating properly.

I have a kitchenaid side by side refrigerator model #KSSC42MFS05 and the freezer isn't getting cold enough to freeze ice cream and the ice maker isn't working.

Look at the rear wall of the freezer for a layer of frost building on the outside of that panel. If yes the refrigerator may be missing defrost. That would explain why the feezer temperatures are warming. If the ice maker is above 5 degrees F it will not be able to make ice. Things to check are the=> 2162044 Defrost Timer

I would like you to locate the defrost timer and turn the center with a flathead screwdriver slowly clockwise until compressor and fans turn off. Leave like this up to 30 minutes. This will cause the defrost to begin. If timer does not restart the compressor an fans after 30 minutes simply turn the timer again slowly clockwise until the compressor and fans restart. If the timer need to be turned like this then this would indicate that the defrost timer is defective and will need replaced. Let me know if you have questions Thanks Sea Breeze

How to remove rider seat 2011 dyna wideglide

Hi Anonymous, seat removal can range from the simple and obvious to the complex and baffling for the novice new Harley Davidson owner. Seems like the more expensive the bike is the harder it is to remove the seat. So let's start with the most expensive. 99% of all Harley seats have a male tounge in the front that slides into a female reciever that is either bolted or welded to the frame just behind the fuel tank. For this reason when ever you are removing a seat you must always slide it backwards 3-5 inches. Next they may may have a bolt on each side usually under a flap on the seat. Then there is the seat strap that is secured on both sides, only one side needs to be removed. A single phillips head bolt can secure it to the rear fender or it may have a bracket with two studs secured by nuts or knobs to fasten the rear portion of the seat. On newer model short seats there may be a "T" stud that locks in the rear portion of the seat just a few inches in front of the rear seat bolt, you have to push forward and lift up after you remove the bolt. If you have a pillion pad or passenger seat that snugs up against the front seat there can be a bolt securing the two to the rear fender, you have to get your hand in between the two seats and force seperation of seat material to see and gain acess to the bolt. Finally there is the rear seat bolt in the back that is the caboose of seat fasteners, usually a large chrome bracket, that screws into the rear fender. Care must be exercised in covering this shinny bauble with your hand during the sliding back procedure so as to NOT scratch the tour pak. So when all the hidden and mysterious fasteners have been removed, it's lift up in the rear, slide backwards a few inches and bingo you have mastered the impossible. Good luck.

I am trying to remove my fuel tank from a 96 chevy suburban and replace the fuel pump

ok i'm going to guess that you have a gasoline engine with a side tank like in a pickup truck. if you have a diesel let me know, things might be a little different. here's the step by step for a gas side tank. before you start, disconnect the battery negative cable.
1. drain the fuel from the tank (they don't tell you how, just get as much out as you can)
2.raise and safely support vehicle (get it high enough that you can get under it to work on it)
3.loosen the fuel neck hose at fuel neck and disconnect filler neck from tank
4.support tank and remove tank support straps and insulator strips
5.remove frame mounted bracket
6.lower fuel tank shield
7.lower fuel tank enough to gain access to fuel and electrical connections
8.disconnect fuel feed and vapor hoses
9.disconnect electrical connectors
10.remove fuel sender assembly and seal ring
now to install new tank
1.install NEW seal ring and install sender
2.raise tank enough to connect fuel feed /vapor hoses and electrical connector
3.raise tank fully
4.install fuel tank shield
5.connect fuel tank filler neck and tighten clamp
CAUTION tighten fuel strap fasteners in steps, alternating between straps, until proper torque is reached. failure to properly follow this step can cause bottom of tank to deform. fuel gauge may read improper level if this occurs
6.install fuel tank brackets and insulator strips
torque nuts to 115 in-lbs
7.install fuel tank filler cap
8.connect battery negative cable
9.turn ignition switch off and on and check for leaks
it's pretty much the same for rear tank, just different location, may have off-road shield in back and torque spec is 47 ft-lbs, not 115 in-lbs. you still have to alternate when you torque straps or you risk deforming tank. hope that helps

Exterior glass trim on Kenmore Electric Range 880-5981

While waiting for someone else to answer my question, I fiddled around with the door parts. I managed to reassemble them! Here's how:

1. start with the glass panel. Slide the glass panel into the slot at the bottom of the front door frame on the stove.

2. next attach the handle. There are slots on the bottom of the handle that fit into the top of the glass panel. Slide the handle slots into the top of the glass panel.

3. screw the handle onto the oven door using the predrilled holes on the inside face of the oven door.

4. last, attach each of the two side trim strips. Slide the top of each strip into the bottom of the handle on each side of the oven door. Then slightly bend the strip outwards so that they are short enough to fit into the bottom slot of the oven door frame on each side of the glass panel.
