I cant hear a sound from my computer, and also when im trying to download its not installing

In the same place your time is, there is usually an icon for sound. Right click on that, then click on open volume control. Click on Options, then properties and make sure all the check marks are checked. Then click ok. Now, make sure none of the mute boxes are checked, and also check to make sure that the volumes are at a "decent" level. Now, to check your sound, go to your control panel, double click on sounds. In the volume tab, make sure mute is not checked. Now click on the sounds tab. Then in the lower box, click on a sound that has been saved and click the play button. With any luck, you should hear something. If you don't, check your speakers. If you still don't have luck, your sound card may be damaged.

No sound in windows XP to my laptop.

Hello,

A couple of things to check. First I will start with the obvious, is the volume turned up? Next you need to check that the system sound is turned on. Click on Start>settings>control panel. Then double click on Sounds and Audio Devices. On the first screen make sure there is NO check in the box next to Mute and that the slider under device volume it at high. Click the advanced button and make sure nothing is muted here and all sliders are at the top. Back at the main screen click speaker volume and make sure those sliders are on high. Finally click on the Sounds tab and make sure the Sound Scheme is set to something other than no sounds.

Washer make clicking sound

First locate were the sound is coming from. put your ear very close to the timer and listen for this clicking sound. remember a timer will make a clicking noise which makes the timer go around. Timers can get noisey with age. The sound might be coming from below also .I would run your washing machine until the part fails. They might also have a motor controller in this unit which is seperate to the timer which will make a high pitch clicking noise.
