Question about Duravit D610000 SensoWash Toilet Seat

Open Question

How to plumb water to a new duravit sensowash with a 18 month old gerbereit carrier installed?

I have the short starck 3 wall hung bowl, installed 18 months ago. Just acquired the sensowash and longer bowl (required to fit sensowash, it doesn't go on the shorter 20.25" bowl). Is their a rather simple way to plumb water to the sensowash? ie. a connection kit from existing in wall carrier (it's not the very new carrier with water line going down for bidet install). Much thanks for any insights, plan to pull my old bowl and wall flush cover this weekend. Ideally I'd install new parts same time (I'm not a plumber but can source if needed).

SOURCE: OUr 5 yr old duravit toilet is constantly running.

if you can see the water running in the bowl it's a good chance that the flappers warn http://www.aplumbers.com/residential/toilet
1. tank the tank lid off.2. flush the rubber thing that comes up and allows the water to go to the bowl is the flapper 3. remove 4. replace that should fix it.
problem 2
1. tank tank lid off.2. if the waters flowing over the long tube in the center and down then the water level is too high3. adjust the level either it will have a ball **** or a float in either case   a ball **** adjusts by a screw on the fill valve. the float has a either a metal rod w/ a pinch clamp or a plastic long screw type thing.4. adjust water level .5. barely lift handle to allow a little water out til fill valve kicks on then release handle til valve stops .6. just keep re adjusting til you get the water level right there should be a molded in line for the level on the back of the tank.

SOURCE: My toilet is a duravit 1930 series model with Euro

A fairly easy ( but messy ) fix - get a replacement tank to bowl gasket and bolt kit, shut off water supply, drain tank, remove bolts ( you might have to cut, depending on your water source and minerals in your water). Remove old gasket and clean surface with 00 grade steel wool. Replace gasket, install new bolts, remount tank.
Good luck!!

My toilet flushes, then the water in the bowl drains over 4-5 minutes resulting in sewer gas smells.

Look inside the tank under the lid, it sounds like the flapper that lets the water into the bowl is getting hung up on something when you flush. It could be the flushing lever. This would cause the flapper to stay open letting water to just pour into the open sewer line. It should be a simple fix. Just see what is binding the flapper & make an adjustment.

SL tank carrier unit just installed last week.work fine the first few times, now water keeps running into the toilet bowl

hey, since it is new, I assume a small stone or left-over is stuck where the seal is, You need to disassemble the valve, clean it and re assemble. Look at this guide that might help you. though it is not the exact model, principle is the same.

My duravit toilet was hung too low and I'm trying to find a solution that doesn't require opening the wall

If you raise the toilet you will have to raise the plumbing so you have little choice.

Toilet seat come loose and no obvious way to tighten??

well there should be 2 hinges rite behind seat. you wont see the screws cause they are under a plastic cover. take a flat head screw driver and pry up cover. lil cover should lift up towards tank. then you should see screws. the nut is under bowl you have to bend down then look up to see them or do what i do and feel for them. take big flat head or big philips screw driver and while you hold nut titen screw. hope this helps. duane:)
