Question about Whirlpool LAB2700ML Pedestal Drawer for Duet Washers & Dryers
You will need an OHM meter to check continuity. or you can jump the wires but you must replace a bad one for its a huge safety hazzard. (you can slide the 2 terminals together if you have them upsidedown from each other.
the thermal fuse is located right on top of the blower housing.
to get to it remove the lower pannel 3 1/4 inch screews you will see 2 wires going into a white plastic almost football looking peice ontop of the blower housing. it is also held in with 2 1/4 inch screews. thats the termal fuse if nothing turns on or work thats the most common problem. if you jump it and the dryer works then replace the t-fuse Part # 3392519 $20.95

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
This is a common issue with Whirlpool Duet however, your whirlpool duet needs a reset to resolve the control lock problem. Press and hold the END OF CYCLE/CYCLE SIGNAL button for 15 seconds to reset the control. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
