I can't get the mouse to mosve at all. What should I do?

The mouse stopped responding properly after several months. I called the company and they told me to replace the batteries, clean the battery contact points with an eraser, and clean the mouse plu with a cotton swab. Nothing worked. Now they are backordered on replacement mice. Does anyone have any other solutions? My son is so disappointed that he can't play with his toy.

I bought my son a click start for Christmas and after about 10 days we had this problem as well. If you remove the back plate where the mouse plugs into the keyboard and sort of wiggle and push the cord inward and then replace the plate cover the mouse should work again. I have had to do this several times, which is kind of annoying, but I suppose it's worth it since my son really loves the toy.

1) Try to download and install a free driver updater software, e.g. http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm - let it scan and update all your missing drivers - it may fix USB general problems if this causes also the mouse problems.
2) If it doesn't help - then there might be problem with the laser beam of your mouse (check the laser beam while the mouse is still moving, and then compare it with the beam when the mouse has stopped moving, maybe the laser beam is out). In this situation - bring it to the warranty repair service or ask for replacement from your seller.

Wireless mouse stopped working.

Unplug the wireless receiver from the back of the computer. Wait 10 seconds and replug back in. Check connectivity. If nothing then check batteries in mouse, if still nothing try click the Connect button on the wireless receiever and then underneath the keyboard...repaet the process for the mouse. You should get something on the screen stating the channel 1 is for the keyboard and channel 2 is for the mouse. Hope this helps! - Erick :-)

Wireless laser mouse stopped working. KB OK. Tried Everything

Hi,
Under the mouse near the optical lens there should be a small connect button, press that and the button on the receiver too.
Also make sure the batteries in the mouse are new or fully charged.

Good luck

Leapfrog mouse doesn't respond on screen

We had this happen within the first 30 minutes that we owned the Click Start! It still happens periodically when the kids are using it. For us the LED lights are flashing non-stop on the keyboard, and the mouse does not move the cursor on the screen and you cannot "click" on anything either.

Solution: On the underside of the keyboard is a very tiny hole. Push a pin or a paper clip into it, you'll feel some give in there like you are pushing a button. I push it until the lights stop flashing on the keyboard. It's the reset button. So far this has worked for us everytime.

Good luck.
