If the fuse has blow there is a fault, check all components in outdoor units,
Fans compressors ect a power outage will cause this fault and just replacing the fuse will more than likely cause more damage to the system without checking components first,

To reset power off outdoor then back on this should clear it,

SOURCE: U4 System transmission between indoor and outdoor units Daikin

Sounds like an interconnecting wiring error. Check wiring connection i.e. wires are connected in right order 1 to1 2 to 2 etc. from indoor terminal board to outdoor terminal board. Also check for slack or loose connections.
Hope this helps I take the time to answer your question so please rate me

Air conditioner installer just installed a used Daikin Split system. it flashes green nothing else happens. According to the error code it says A1. Is it something he has done wrong.

This fault indicates a fault with the fan coil unit PCB and the only course of action is to replace the PCB,
this may have been caused by incorrect wiring and power being switched on, ensure wiring is correct before replacing and powering up

Error message U4

Signal transmission error. Indoor and outdoor PCB's cannot communicate. Usually a faulty controller board in the outdoor unit. If the indoor unit otherwise functions normally (can control fan speed, louvres, beeps in replay to all remote buttons) then it is probably OK so check outdoor controller PCB.
