SOURCE: I have a Galaxy dx55v

a normal problem is a diode on the solder side. near the pll by the rf shields normally resoldering that diode will restore the freq operation.

SOURCE: Frequency counter starts drifting after a few

Could be a bad crystal. Could be a bad PLL. When a CB is Oscillating I recommend they take it to a tech with an oscilloscope to have it repaired. You have to be able to set the mixers and an oscilloscope is the only way. This is the most technical part of the CB (front end)

My rg 66 signal meater dont work and no sound till it worms up whats wrong

frequency drifting on last number really doesn't make much difference. Lets say you are on CH 1 26.965 and the counter says the frequency is 26.9648 . Its not right but it close enough that its not going to make a whole lot of difference .Signal meter not working is not a problem either . You have to check the schematic for what voltage operates the meter, check to make sure that voltage is there. If it is then you should change the meter., if no voltage then you should check for the solution as to how to get it back. When the radio warms up and you hear people talking take some freeze spray and give the audio IC a shot to see if it still works or not .

FC-347 causes radio's transmit frequency to jump around when plugged in.

I don't understand why anyone would want to install one of these when the radio already has one.

FC-347 on a cobra 25 wx st

try to follow those direction as much as you can and if it doesn't work then try it a different way. Remember you need a power source and a source for the light to work.

Ranger 6300F25drifts off frequency after warm up

buy some mr.freeze and spray some in the pll area to see if it drifts back on frequency. once you have determined that take it to a tech and let him know what you did and he will fix it.

Rci 6900f drifting

Since the RCI 6900 is a 10 meter ham radio, and not desogned for the 11 meter band, when you had it modified, you also expanded the PLL chip past it's normal use. 10 Meter radios are not designed for CB use ( and of course this is also illegal ) so the PLL does drift. There is no real fix on this problem. Sorry
