Question about Black & Decker Black Decker MS700K Mega Mouse 4 In 1 SanderPolisher

Black and Decker Mega Mouse fails to oscilate.

My Black and Decker mega mouse has been fairly well used over the last 5 years, now when I switch it on it runs but doesn't oscilate. If I take the plate off, it oscilates again. It fails to oscilate with any of the plates attached. There is no burning smell. Help!"

You probably already got rid of your sander. I just ran into the same problem. I took off the sanding block, oscillating guide, and turbine guard and cleaned them off and put the sander back together. It was still doing the same thing. With the block off the sander ran full blast but when you put the block on it will not oscillate and acts like it is bogged down. I don't know if this will work for you but I noticed that the washer under the allen screw was concaved. I flipped the washer over so it was convexed and the sander worked like a beast. I will find out tomorrow if it is still running correctly or not. Good luck.

could have had a bearing problem that caused the motor to cease up, It might be time for a new one unless you are handy, if so I suggest going to and downloading a breakdown for the tool and make note of how you disassemble it to find the problem, If it is the armature or field it might cost less to replace it.

How do I find instructions?

you can try if this is a Black and Decker tool by going to their website at and with the model number you can usually find a breakdown or they also have a service center locator to locate one close to you. If this is another brand give me the model number and area you are in and I will try and find one for you.

Black and Decker Mouse

If you need an owners manual or list of accessories for the Black and Decker Mouse you can go to and download. The only parts that I see available depending on your type number is the pad, cord and switch. I dont see where they made available the brushes or other wear and tear parts. They do offer a 2 year limited homeowners warranty though. At this site you can also find local dealers

Hi, Ausus Laptop Gaming. Use to use Logitech wirelewss keyboard and mouse over 3 years no issue. Just today only the mouse stop working, change battery, restart comp., not even the laptop mousepad...

Make sure your mouse and keyboard are close to the receiver (the thing you plug into a usb port). Also make sure you plug the receiver into another usb port because maybe some of those ports are incompatible with the receiver or some ports may be failing. Last, make sure you install the driver (program that came on the cd for your equipment) on the computer.

Dynex wireless mouse with new batteries (kodak AAA) inserted properly fails to move the cursor. Mouse barely used, purchased last year at Best Buy, Hadley MA

Make sure the mouse is turned on (power switch on the bottom) and then reconnect it with the USB receiver. Press the Connect button on the receiver, then press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse.

It quit working

to tech jenkins...... f*ck you. A mouse should last for years and years. There is no reason why it shouldn't.

To everybody else reading this... now you know why our world is going to ****!! It's because corporations design products to fail on you and people stupid enough like jenkins to keep buying their products. If your mouse has failed you prematurely then i wouldn't buy from that same company again because your just going to be disappointed again!
