Question about Black & Decker Black Decker MS700K Mega Mouse 4 In 1 SanderPolisher
My Black and Decker mega mouse has been fairly well used over the last 5 years, now when I switch it on it runs but doesn't oscilate. If I take the plate off, it oscilates again. It fails to oscilate with any of the plates attached. There is no burning smell. Help!"
Try taking the base plates off and cleaning all the gunk out from around the bearings and area

could have had a bearing problem that caused the motor to cease up, It might be time for a new one unless you are handy, if so I suggest going to dewaltservicenet.com and downloading a breakdown for the tool and make note of how you disassemble it to find the problem, If it is the armature or field it might cost less to replace it.
