Question about RCA Lyra RD2011 MP3 Player
My screen is blank when you turn it on, I have tried changing batteries a bunch of times and it still does not work. And now because the screen will not display I can not tell what I am selecting, and because of that it is now stuck on Radio and will not go back to my music.
SOURCE: HELP ME PLEASE
Good Day, FAT (not fat like you think, FAT means File Allocation Table). That means its corrupted, can be fixed by formatiing. Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
