Sorry, but the FE-4000 does not have a black&white mode. However, just about any photo editing program will have the ability to convert a color photo to black&white. Doing so on a computer gives you much better control over brightness, contrast, and other factors.
if the hand icon is displayed while taking a picture, then according the camera the device is under vibration. this message is due to the fact that the lens array is under a serious problem and probably you should have dropped it. it costs about 60$ to repair it under sony.
Do you mean the desktop icon itself, or the taskbar icon?
If you just want the desktop icon back, navigate to "program files / logitech/ quickam" folder. Right click on the "quickcam" (it will have a pic of the eyeball camera). Click "create shortcut". Drag that shortcut icon to the desktop.
To make the the taskbar icon, make another shorcut, and drag it to the taskbar.
