Peer to Peer Ethernet is used for DSL connection via modem with a User and Password. Start looking there, change you ISP connection type, or contact them.

Internet pppoe

Check with your ISP to ensure you have the correct PPPoE details. If your router has a built-in "ping" feature, try to ping a website and see if that works.

Check on your computer to see what IP address it has, and if it's been "assigned by DHCP" or not - if it has, then it should communicate with your router. If not, then there's an issue with your PC and router communicating together.

Let me know how you get on, and I'll help further.

My notebook says the PPPoE concentrator is not responding

Most routers allow a total of four connections. Some allow as few as one wifi connection.

PPoE is associated with DSL. If the router is set up to connect to the DSL, each device connected to the router needn't worry about how the connection is made. So it reads like the notebook is trying to dial using PPPoE too. Just tell the notebook it's connecting to a network and it might clear up.

But I'm no expert on the subject and many more opinions

My screen says the PPPoE access concentrator is not responding. try agai later. please help

To find out if you need to use PPPoE to get online and if so, what the correct PPPoE settings are, contact your internet service provider. Only they have the specific settings needed for your connection.

Can not connect to PPPOE DSL

Is there a reason why the Sonicwall needs to do the PPPOE auth? You should be able to let the modem do the PPPOE connection and have the Sonicwall behind it. The Sonic wall will get a private IP address. Andy
