Try changing the needle
also try using a different bobbin just incase there is something
wrong with that one
make sure the thread is wound evenly on the bobbin or this will
cause problems
make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case

SOURCE: Necchi Heavy Duty Sewing machine model 3205FA,

Generally when the needle does not pick up the bobbin thread, it means the needle is either too far in or just plain the wrong length. YOu might want to try lowering the needle just a hair and see if that helps.

SOURCE: thread jamming, wont feed material, sewing in one place

Try moving the stitch length dial to 4 or 5 - check the manual. You may have it in the position for very close together sewing. I had to do a lot of trying with my 4795 to get it to work right. I found that very thin thread, polyester kind, broke at the needle after a couple of stitches. I switched to coats & clarks thread and a Singer ball point needle and it works fine. Be sure your needle is inserted with the flat top toward the back of the machine. Good luck!

Bobbin thread not being picked up Necchi 7010

This is a tough fix. There is a metal ring with a hook on it that goes around the bobbin. Check that there are no threads jamming the bobbin parts. Short of that, sry its a trip to the repair shop.

Make sure the bobbin has a 3-5 inch thread tail
Then make sure the top thread has a 3-5 inch tail
Then hold the top thread tail with your fingers (away from the needle)
& use the hand wheel on the right hand side of the machine to slowly
Lower the needle in the bobbin area & see if the bobbin thread will pick

Timing is off, is is possible that you broke a needle or sewed over a pin. timing needs to be re set by a professional.
